Day 13: Abensburg and Regensburg

Today we started with a brewery tour in Abensburg.  The name if the brewery is Kuchlbauer.  The brewery is the 15th oldest in the world. It started in the 1300s. The current family bought it in the 1600s. Their brewery tour combines art and beer. We have never been in a brewery quite like this. We tried 3 of their beers. We liked all of them. We walked the 232 steps to the top of the tower.  Beautiful view

The afternoon was a walk through Regansberg. Schindler was from Regansberg. He saved 1200 Jews. 

Unfortunately all the pictures are mixed up. The pictures that look a little wacky are from the brewery!

Tonight we have a Bavarian oompa band entertaining us in the lounge
